Complementary Research
Alongside the Mapping Project, TJWG conducts research with the North Korean escapee community in South Korea to gain a holistic understanding of the needs that arise from the experience of abuses at the hands of the North Korean state. We also explore what "accountability" means to this community. The first report from this research was published in February 2019.
